This hybrid day hiker/trail shoe has become a Ragged Mountain staple, as it fills an important, unique niche between those two ends of the off-road spectrum.  Rugged, durable, and yet surprisingly lightweight, this second version of the Katabatic is similar to the original one, but is a little bit lighter and uses more environmentally friendly materials.
